The Lerche we should have had with 1946.  I'd very much like to see this in-game one day.

Lerche is in 46...

I meant, we should not have had the Lerche at all.  The 46 expansion should have contained the Ba-349 instead. ;)

Well this was actually buildt and tested one time, it manage to kill its testpilot on first flight. Te test pilot witch I cannot remember the name on was a degraded officer in Luftwaffe forced to this duty as a chanse to redeem himself. The rest of the finnished Natters was overrunned by US groundforces

The pilot's name was Lothar Siebert.
I agree with Bee- the Lerche, also known as the Flying D@#$o, is dreadful. An aircraft such as the Natter or the Hs-132 would have made much more sense- even the BV-40 would have been better.

Even a flying brick would have been better, so imagine a Natter!

This model is looking very good! Congratulations on a fine job on it.

I am not sure if anyone is aware of another version of this airplane that was actually already being built
on a large scale, but never used until the end of the WW2?
It is a version with wheels. Not like the Me-163 Komet but another type.
If this aircraft could somehow fly like a Komet, then it could use airport runways in a more normal way as
other airplanes in this game.

Here is some great links...

Only the M variants were mounted with fixed landing gears but these were only used for gliding tests, towed by He-111s, since these had no engines.

If its possible to vertical launch the plane the complete modell would be very simple. No undercarriage no props...

Ahhh, the Natter...the plane many say can't be done. In fact, it was the bachem that lured me into SAS in the first place and I gave a crack at it before I found out how incredibly hard modding is. I have the remnants of my model somewhere around here.

Depending on who you talk to, the Natter is too hard, impossible, etc etc..But when you see some of the planes now flying, particularly the wide range of jets and fantasy stuff, I simply don't believe the "anti-Natters".

I'd love to see the Natter finally done and I believe vertical launch is feasible as well as necessary. Without it, it's not the Natter. So, add my vote to revisiting this project. It's way overdue.
