if you are thinking of having them used as banner pics, the only real 'tradition' of the banner pics is that they are actual genuine photographs, not arty, paintings or other types.
tha tdoesn't mean we don't want to see more cool pics, though, so keep 'em coming... :D

I didn't know that , then I will post photos here and I will post the paintings in the Movies & Screenshots section.  ;)

Alright everyone! Today we have a Westland Lysander Mk.IIIA. This particular plane is in civil ownership, and was registered G-BCWL in the U.K. It is also known as V9281.

The picture that we have on the banner is that very plane in an older scheme, now it looks like this:
 

Now It doen NOT fly anymore, the registration was cancelled in 1999 or 2000 and it was sent to some museum in the US.
