The banner above has been colonized by Max thehitman from the full brown on brown photo below.
The plane is the #3 prototype from fokker of the fokker tri- plane work # FI / 103, the #1 prototype was used for testing at the fokker factory the #2 was given to MvR and the #3 above was given to Werner Voss and that is him in the cockpit in that photo, note that the prototypes had the work number start with FI and the production tri- planes had the work number start with Dr1, also note that the prototypes did not have the wood wing skids under the bottom wings like the production models did, also the yellow cowl as seen above in Max's repaint for Voss's tri-plane is still very much at controversy with historians as some say it was yellow and some say that dark Fokker green.
I just thought I would put this here for when its gone from being the banner so people will still see it and know what is being talked about.
