HansHansen its not all that great flying in an F-15, its better than that, I got 5 rides in f-15s, whats not fun is knowing it will never happen again.

I respect and admire the helo pilots, especially the ones flying fire fighting and SAR missions. A friend of mine was a SAR pilot, HH3F, he died in 2008 when an HH3F crashed in France on its way to Florennes, Belgium. He left a 3 month old child.

Reverting to more funny things, the guy tied to fuel tank it's my, the way the ground crews wanted to commemorate my first trip to Sardinia!

Rubens51, I love Sardinia!! Ichnusa beer is the very best beer in the world, as is their Canonau wine, not to mention the most beautiful women I have ever been around, OH and the food there!! Mama mia!  :P

I have spent many, many summers fighting fire there. My most favorite place in all of Europe!

Not very photogenic I'm afraid, but I thought I'd add my ugly mug to the thread.

All the best, Pete. ;)

Razor, I like Cannonau, but I don't think that Ichnusa is the best beer in the world!
About Sardinia girls, what should I say, even Clooney has one (one of our very best, the lucky bastid!).

Hello mark, you started a superb thread here, it is really good to actually put a face to the name and avatar we have become so familiar with, scarry also. ;)

The map is coming on well I think, latest update has some bugs though, don't drive the river from Hue, could be a bit explosive and bumpy.

All the best, Pete. :D

Face and cockpit:

Still trying hard to fit the PPL exams and flights into a hectic life with work and family. Getting close now, I hope.

VT_51 Razor, were you based in Tatoi AB? This is where my club is based. I remember that I had one of these choppers behind me on the circuit when landing after one of my first solo CC. Any way thank you for all the help you gave us that terrible year.
