Class file check ok, no conflicts, ;D got me stumped now, :o can't get it to run in UP 2.0 either using 4.09 files. Think this one will have to go in the to hard basket for a while. :'(
cheers.

@ agracier & JimC:

This is how I installed this bird over my custom modded 4.09:

1) open the archive by 7zip and go into the PZL23B_PZL42.7z folder where you'll find this subfolder: PZL23B_PZL42;
2) inside the above last folder you'll find 4 other folders: PZL_PuW_bombs - PZL42 - PZL23B - ForgottenCountriesAdd & the 2 read me;
3) extract only the PZL23B and PZL42 into your main mods folder; (where you have all the other mods)
4) search if you have the classfiles you'll find into the PZL_PuW_bombs (you should have them if you have the PZL37)
4a) if you find them search for insurance if you have also all the PZL_PuW_bombs/3do/Arms/PuW-50 etc folders;
4b) if you haven't the classfiles add the whole PZL_PuW_bombs folder into your main mods folder or if you miss some of the PZL_PuW_bombs/3do/Arms/....add the missing ;
5) add the air.ini entry:

PZL23B             air.PZL23B 1                                   pl01  SUMMER
PZL42             air.PZL42 1                                   pl01  SUMMER

6) return to the point 1 archive root level: you'll find the PZL23B_PZL42_classes_409 folder;
7) inside this folder you'll find the classes_409 folder...you must open also this one where you'll find those 2 folders: PZL23B & PZL42;
8 ) extract both allow to overwrite what you have just installed following point 3! This should give you the 4.09 FM to work flawless....

7) run the game to verify correct installation up to this point!!!!

For the forgotten country mod addition since I haven't it I suggest to follow the readme instruction!

Cheers walter_solito, done to the letter, don't get 300 mods without a bit of experience, ;) so I am looking back to a conflict again. Bacause it hasn't worked across 2 different installs(UP 2.0 4.09 & Mod Act 4.10) and at least 200 of the mods are common to both installs, must be a conflict. There is no reason why they shouldn't work when installed correctly. Will dig a bit deeper for now.
Cheers for the reply. :)

I suspect the forum marker needs altering for this mod? I cannot for the life of me get this past 70% in 4.101 and Modact 2.72 - I followed the installation instructions to the T overwriting with the new 4.10 classfiles as described but no joy whatsoever!!

Air.ini entries normally cause a CTD at 60% so i've no idea where the 70% CTD is originating from, I dont think _ru entries cause CTD's and you shouldnt have to have 'forgotten countries' installed for this to work (or so I believe?) - this is normally technics/chief.ini territory?? If anyones got this going in 4.101 can they post their installation method please?

I'm a great fan of the early aircraft.

Downloaded and installed successfully in 4.10.1 first go.

The folder structure on the model folders are double stacked.
This would be easy to get wrong.

I used the class files which came with the main download not the ones labelled "Classes_409_410"
Already had the latest buttons installed so no changes required with that.

Then after testing pasted in the new 4.10 class files. Still no problems
I guess the 4.09 class files work in either 4.09 or 4.10 but lack some of the new functions.
I've not done any of the Forgotten Countries stuff yet.

Testing in QMB I forgot that I still had a Fury armed with Aim missiles set up as the enemy. First I knew was when he flashed overhead.  ;D

Nice work again Loku

Yep spotted the double stacked folders - funnily I get a 60% CTD if both planes are enabled in mods and a 70% if I disable the PZL42 ?? I will try just using the original classfiles as you did asheshouse - perhaps these activate a setting somewhere? I have Ranwers PZL37 working just fine and these would be a lovely addition.

Be a shame if I cant get these working!!

UPDATE   I've tried everything even putting the 2 folders first in my MODS hierachy but cannot get past the 60% CTD - this is a real shame as these 2 look the mutts nuts. I have the latest buttons (8.21) diffm 4.10 and have followed the installation to the letter (omitting the weapons folder as I already have the PZL37B) i've tried them with the 4.09 and 4.10 classfiles.

Guess i'll have to hope these are included in UP3.0

PS, If any of you other guys managed to get these going in 4.101 can you let us know ??

Only difference I can see is that I used the weapons pack from the PZL23 mod not the PZL37.
I have PZL37 installed too, but not the weapons folder.
