Luftwaffe transport units skinpacks WIP

Hi,

just wanna let you know these will be my next works. There are no or nearly no Ju52 staffel skinpacks so i am focussing on such at the moment. Research is done and i'm working on 12 - 24 skins
of the III./KGzbV1 ('Kampfgeschwader zur besonderen Verwendung 1' = 'combat group for special duties') now. In general the Luftwaffe transport crews are always standing in the shadow
of the famous fghter pilots, but they did an outstanding job as well. Very oftenly lacking fighter escort and flying in worst weather conditions the transport unit crews fulfilled their missions
with enormous courage and skill. Losses were very high. Two examples are the Stalingrad air supply and the Afrikakorps supplies in spring 1943.

These skins are from III./KGzbV 1, which served throughout the whole Africa campaign to supply Rommel's troops from bases in Sicily and Crete:

Don't worry ! Your skinpack(s) looks very interesting to me too... and i think they will look good in my P-38's gunsight too ;) I love the weathering on these birds, they seem to be dirty, just like the real thing !

... yep Armin, don't you worry, once the guys run short of beer they will find great interest in transport units ... they will even volunteer to escort them  :P
