@it_eurofighter pretty late, but I've a fix for your problem (I had the same)! Delete the Mig-3 texture entries from VPModpack's SKINMOD folder. In my installation, it was here: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 - VPMOD\#SAS\#00_SKINMOD\3do\plane

Everything that's used for the MiG-3 (ud, early, etc.). After that, I now have the red stars over the new HD skins. :)

Because they're part of the default skins.
Apparently the modder wasn't happy with IL-2's markings and therefore decided to remove the marking overlays and instead paint the russian stars right on the default skins and leave all others unmarked.

And this means that not a single skin can be used with signs and numbers with this beautiful 3D model? If so, then unfortunately this mod is not worth using, as I will have 50 skins for various missions useless (((

Instead of complaining all over the place on a mod that is 2775 days old (!!!), did you ever consider making it better yourself?
