WIP AC-47

I'm fairly new at skinning... Please go easy on me.  :P
 Anyways, here's a new skin I'm working on for the AC-47:

 

 Styled off of the infamous AC-130!  :D

 But it looks so plain... And Boring.  :( Any tips from expert skinners would be appericiated.  ;)

Some gentle weathering & toning down of the "pristine" look ie subtle changes in paint tone over the aircraft body using a "cloud" filter effect. Maybe some dirt/oil smudges around engine cowlings?

am i the only one seeing the forum filled up with yellow frogs in ice cubes lately  ??? :D

oh i got something that CY6 orignaly sent to me, its a template for the C-47s. with some tweaking its pefect for the AC-47:

[hopefully he'll be ok at this, as its free as long as you give the authors credit!]
as you can see its in a PSD, so its sorta large, but its good. i may give it another shot :P
