I am so very sad to see you leave CY6, but I understand your reasons why.
Thank you so much for your fantastic contribution to this great flight sim and to brighten my
gloomy days. You will be my friend forever.
I am also a bit dissapointed at the recent (tragic) events to this great community with the released
4.10 patch by the TD team and how it has created more dificulties to the mod-artists and their superb work ,than
it has been a welcomed thing for the IL-2 game. But what has been done is done.
One can either go forward and re-start from scratch all over again or simply let it be and enjoy all the wonderful mods
that have been done up to now.
My mind just melts with tragic thoughts of all the cool skins I have painted in the past for some very cool airplane mods done
by some extremely gifted artists and good friends and see that some of those aircraft will never see the light of day
again in the future for other IL-2 fans. Very sad indeed.
IL-2 is a superb game and it has been modded to near perfection by the entire community of dedicated friends, including yourself.
I will continue enjoying your creations in the many years to come and will never forget what great things you have done. No money
in the world could ever pay for the countless hours , days and months you have dedicated to this game. If there was a price, it would be in the millions. But through it all, you have done it all for free and did it from the heart with much love. For that reason I have the highest respect for you and your creations. They are amazing.
Now it is time for you to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour. Have a great game and a great flight my friend. See and enjoy the
great things you have done... they are AMAZING !  8)

THANK YOU for all the great times
Cheers
Your friend MAX-theHitman

Thank you so very much for all you have done. Words cannot express how much my niece and I have enjoyed all the hard work you and other modder's have done. Il2 was the first flight sim we tried and we came across SAS and other sights by accident. It opened up to us no only the joy of flying but also comradery we saw as people from across the globe joined together and contributed to this amazing flight sim, regardless of nationality or other barriers. It has been amazing teaching tool in that respect. I salute you CY6 for all you have done. Life has its priorities and you have chosen well. I will enjoy your work and the works of others for as long as my hard disk spins. From my niece and I we salute you.

Have fun CY6.  I'm so glad for your amazing contributions  :) :)

I hope you get more time to simply fly and play the game now.  You deserve to have some fun and take a break.

Sorry to hear of your retirement CY6, but you have earned an indelible place with your projects in my MODS fold :)

I certainly understand about when it just isn't that fun anymore though.

What ever else you end up doing, hope it goes well and is fun stuff.

Cheers, and of course thank you for all you've done.

Hello CY6,

When play starts to feel like work, it's time for a change. I understand. Thank you for all you have done for this game and its community. It's you, who got me hooked on nightfighting in the new He-219.  ;) All around the world, there are people flying your planes over your maps, corresponding with the tower through your ground control mod.
All your Il-2 efforts are very much appreciated.

Thank you,

FW

Checkyersix, many thanks for your hard work and your genious mods for this awesome modding community.
Your North Korea map alone was and keeps being a source of many joyful flights and your mods simply rock. :)

All The Best with your future plans and have fun flying IL-2!
