Riken,

It would be great if you can do a Mustang IA (4 cannon version) ... once you are finished with that could you do the same for the Hurricane MkII Hercules ... @ https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,15512.0.html ... Those 12 .303's in the current Hurricane MkII Hercules just don't have the punch of the 4 cannons of the IIC model.

Sorry to hear about your 114 degree weather ... I thought our 100 to 109 in my backyard in Brentwood, California was hot, but you sure have us beat.

that's not counting the actual heat of the yard i work in :D add in 3-6 degrees without the humidity additive. We were reported to be hotter than Deth Valley..... and I felt it.

I'll see about getting that Mustang Mk.Ia cannon going after awhile. It shouldnt take as long as that Typhoon Mk.Ia and it's 24 manually added hooks for guns and dumps :D I just have 8 on this one ;)

After that, I'll have a go at that Hurcules with cannons too. But that's after my secret project I'm working with somebody here on. Should be don on that very soon.

Then onto those other projects within the SAS that need attention too........

:D

Riken,

Thank you for the offer - that sounds great.

Having said that, with the kind of heat you have over there, I imagine you'd be resting in an air-conditioned room with a large glass of  Margarita / Caipirinha with extra ice, so we'll feel guilty pulling you away from that ...  :D

Cheers,

Riken that Sounds great!  You'll make a lot of folks very happy as there have been a lot of requests made for the Mustang IA and for Hurricane IIC Hercules (both with 4x20mm cannons).   I'd also like suggest a carrier hook for the Hercules Hurricane as it seems to be a natural as carrier fighter ... hope I'm not over requesting here.

The worst heat I had to endure was during a trip to Arkansas many years ago when a heat wave hit the whole southern part of the US.  When we stopped at a gas station their outdoor thermometer (in the shade) read 126 degrees F and the humidity was very high with absolutely no wind.  I don't know how accurate the thermometer was, but after just pumping gas I was soaked in sweat.   Later about mid-night higher up in the hills we found a payphone (this was before cell phones) and called home (US west coast) ... there was another thermometer there and it still read something over 110 and it was still very high humidity and not a breath of air moving.   I was sure glad we had a very good air conditioner running on the generator in our small motorhome.   Whatever we spent on gas that night was really worth it.

Riken, I too would love to see the 20mm cannon version of the Mk1 Mustang, but just when you find the time!

Ok. guys. Just to let you know. It's a weekend for me and our team was lucky enough to not have to work the entire weekend. So you all knnow what that means! I'm beginning my modding at this time and with hope, not sttopping till those promised projects are completed today. I'm in the AC now, cool beer in hand (later on ;)) and relaxing in a comfort zone :D I'll update you all when I have this one out with a link to it here.

Take your time, we'll be here next week too and nobody will complain...There are so many things around that I tend to spend more and more time just ....downloading that actually "flying"! From my limited modding experience the "doing it right first time" is the best way to save valuable time.

Ok. It's done. I' uploading it now and I will place it with the other dpwnloads on the first page. I used the cannon barrels from they Typhoon Ib and mouned them on the wings. It's not an exact look a like of the real thing, but it's got cannons now.

It's just something till we get proper ones  :-\
