f-86 .50 MG smoke trails
« on: March 27, 2011, 05:28:54 AM »

A request from a jetwar developer:  Counld some effects guru remove the smoketrails from the .50 jet guns? All my guncamera footage shows no trails. Also check HSFX 5.1.

I am unable to find a 4.09 mod I can change.

Thanks.

Wierd, The little gun footage I saw has smoke trails, at least the ones at altitude. There is a mod from way back called curving smoke trail that you can use. It makes the soke trail lighter and you can edit the effects and shorten the livetime to 0 and eliminate the trail.

Give it a try.

Thank you Grant. Like a charm in 4.101M.

I'm trying to test the jetwar .50 ROF and the smoke was screwing it up.

Hope you like the 56 patch when it is released. Having been invovled with theFM, I think they are much more accurate.

Thanks for the help with warping.
