Thanks a bunch, I'm creating a what-if campaign in which Japan never attacked Pearl Harbor, hence delaying American entry of war, and I really don't want to rely too much on American Lend Lease articles (Avenger, Corsair, etc.), even though the challenge of bringing back a Seafire is truly discouraging.

Your campaign sounds interesting milvipes, a few nights ago I tried to take a Spitfire off a carrier just for old times sake, it took me a few goes to finally get the hang of it again so I know what you are getting at, I should leave it to the AI. :D

There are now so many new additions of aircraft and ships into IL-2 that now should be the best time ever for a career/campaign for a Naval Aviator, go for it I say. 8)

Take care and be safe.

That what if campaign sounds interesting. I was working on one of my Eastern Front what if campaigns until recently. Then someone made a bunch of Romanian WWI skins. Then a fault was discovered in the WWI Romanian campaign I'd released a lot earlier. So, I've re-vamped that, and will re-release it. I'm using his skins. Good luck with your campaign.

cheers

Just installed in version 4.09, all working except the missing rockets and depthcharges.

Would appreciate any help anyone can offer in terms of activating some kind or any kind of rockets on this aircraft!
(Depthcharges I probably have no use for anyway, sadly)

So what is the strange version of your game?

Just installed in version 4.09, all working except the missing rockets and depthcharges.
What you write is very important and therefore must be precise!
I guess the right sentence is: "missing depthcharges and rockets".
According to the weapon order given in the weapons.properties!
In this case it means that you don't have in your game the Mk53 Deep Charges.
In this case go and see here : https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,56772.0.html
In the PBM archive you will find a "weapons" folder.

Working 100%!  I know the Russian I-153 can carry rockets, but somehow the Swordfish feels even older and more archaic.  Feels strange to see something so old carrying what would have been relatively modern rockets.  Fun to shoot them at things though!
