I'm not going to do the entire thing, especially not the landing gear!

Is there any other plane with similar landing gear movement? If there is some similar plane already in IL-2, then why not just import the new 3D with similar pivot points over the existing 3D and the gear animations should already work OK without any more work.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to see this one in IL-2 since it's one of the most historically significant WW2 planes still missing.

About the SBD folding wings I can help with that, let me some hours and will send a plane SBD with folding wings, hooks and dive brakes to Mikoyan

Perhaps all You chaps already know this but 2008  Csocso showed images of a beautyfull  modell of  an Helldiver over at AAA.

Unfortunately this project seems to be dead  and burried since a long time

I'm pretty sure that I saw a post from SAS-Csocso that showed a beautiful model of a Helldiver but that was quite a while ago.
