Jokingly CWMV, maybe its like that to help in landing glide slope...
I can't say a pay too much attention to Attitude Indicator itself in 109's...

Possibly, but I don't think I could walk away from a landing that steep!

Der Wustenfuchs, thanks man! So far it seems to work. Sun no longer shines through the instrument panels, but the bug does still exists for the canopy frame. Did I install right? I just copied and replaced the same files. By the way I'm running UP 2.01. Thank you very much.

... this fix also solved the canopy frame bug for me, so I don't understand why you still have the issue, just in case there were a difference between Der Wüstenfuchs ' fix and mine here is a link for you to try my version :

Thanks Mick. Your download had one more .mat file than Der Wustenfuchs'. It was "BF109H2Planks". That solved the F's front canopy frame. So all instrument panels are good now and the front frames, but the side rails of the canopies still show sunlight through them. I'm much happier with the way my 109's look now regardless, but I'll check back to see if you guys can recommend anything else. Thank you both very much.

Will there be an update for this to make it compatible with DBW? With the release of build 1.4 it seems there are some issues.

TT that is great!
I wish I could offer some assistance, if there is mindless, tedious work involved that's really basic stuff Id love to help!
Now question for you, old POV mods aren't working for these aircraft, is it due to the canopy/cockpit redesign? Any way to change it?

Here is the DBW compatible version. Replace folder "Bf-109E-7" with this. This already contains fixes for E-4/7.

I also found solution how to fix the sun problem with side frames and head armors too. Open the file "Bf109I2Planks.mat" with notepad and put this there. New early canopies need a fix for all frames, it's coming soon.  ;)

Put these 4 mat-files in the E7-folder and it fixes the sun problem with DBW early canopy.
