Ojcar,
sorry but for the while I don't plan to change it. It requires to investigate how the Zuti and the rest of the classes of the UP3 work, finding differences, trying to export methods to them, confirming if they work as expected, etc. And UP is still an RC (Release Candidate), new changes probably would made after user reports.

So sorry but for the while, this will be available for HSFX5, Stock, SAS Activated, etc., only. Is too much effort to make it work in such an extensively reworked environment as UP3.

  Regards,

? of Fu***.... benito, are you saying you are not going to tackle it down?

sad.... I won't phrase it exactly as ojcar but having your mod was the best thing since sliced bread.
as it is now it is a "this sucks" feeling.

please have a look into it

yes, thre is a changed minimap.
- it is called normal map, navigational map and briefings but no radars and such...
bad. a great thing missing.

Sadly, one more step in the "give onliners all the toys and f**k **f the offliners" story of this game. Zuti thing is very nice, but is a online thing that ruined a great amount of my offline playing.
Well, Benito, please take a look  at final version when released (or have a talk with Zuti). Your mod was my absolute favourite, because let me to play with any plane in DGEN.

yeah, i never realized until the whole Zuti thing (i have no clue what MDS stands for or is or what I am supposed to do with to be honest...)
how this can conflict... no hard feelings towards them but a lesson learned I guess.
offliners definitely depend on you, benito.

I have no other mods but this enabled in my UP3 and this causes 70% download crash.

Hangman,
in fact it is not that when loading the MissionProCombo something is not found in the UP and then it collapses. On the contrary, some functions of the MDS don't find the corresponding methods on the "more plain" classes of my MOD and then they fail. For sure the same would happen if you copy the stock Builder / PlMission /GUIBriefingGeneric / GUIQuick classes.

I think that something important and not so invasive would be that UP give us the chance of not having "compulsory huge MODs" impossible to remove. It is very restrictive this way.

Thank's for the info. But it is any chance to get this work with UP3.

One good thing works for your mod with UP3: the QMB missions  ;D

I fully support you on this benito.

I think the inclusion of this MDS stuff was made with best intentions but as it is now I am left with a huge amout of stuff that locks my most liked features out giving me functions I do not want, need or even know about...
not too good.
maybe you should contact the bunch over there to get a fix on the way.

your mods would be really worth it!

please at least try to look at Mission Pro. This is a different game without it :-/

Q.M.B. Pro and F.M.B.+ would be not so hard felt ATM at least by me

I have a workaround!!!!

I took an old standalone release of MissionPro and gathered all the java files from a recent 4.10 combo release. I put it into #UP# and guess what.... I have my Mission Pro!!!!!

http://www.gamefront.com/files/20374155/00_missionPro_test.7z

The only bummer is that the "fly" button is green in the centre while the text "fly" is on the very right. I can live with that since the skin option and the rest seems to work perfectly! I tested a bit.
So... maybe this is a start?

-> happy man:)

Hi VP - I wonder if you can just overwrite the GUI .tga's from the old version with the new ones?

Making153,
if you mean replacing the GUI .tgas to put the buttons in the proper place, it isn't that way it works. The position of the buttons and the labels is defined at code (Java) and not by the graphics (which only have the visual of the buttons, the background, etc.). There isn't any it can be changed.

Thank you Vampire!  This is excellent.  I hope something like this is incorporated into the endproduct UP 3.0.  I am very grateful.
