no! drag them into your main Il2 folder, some stuff will ask to overwrite what is there, reply 'yes'.

thanks malone. i managed to copy them all into the il2 folder & they are there but when i start up its just plain old vanilla.

are you starting up with the new sas exe?
if you start with the regular il2fb. exe you will get the stock game.
also, just to be sure, you are installing this over a stock 4.101m version, right?

yes its a working copy of 4.101m. how to start up with the sas exe? i just been clicking on the il2 1946 desktop icon to start up. sorry for being a pain

No, there is a new sas exe inside your IL-2 folder. Why didn't you read the quide?

i did read the guide. the file with blue sas icon? nothing happens when i click on it. guess will just stick to the stock game til i can figure out what i did wrong.

if you copied and pasted every thing correctlygo int the main game folde and look for an SAS icon with the
name FBSAS
then click it and hay presto

did that. freezes at 95% & start up screen still the original. gonna leave it just now before i screw the whole thing up. thanks for all the input guys.

got it sorted now :D Did it all over & working fine. Looks & sounds amazing. Thanks for all your hard work. I see theres an add on planned to enable the SASexe to work on Hyperlobby. Any idea when that would be available? Cheers

Guys, if you please READ the first post, you will see there already is one. The other sollution we are working on is completely different, and will take a little while longer.

If in the meantime anyone who actualy GIVES A SHIT about online play wants to get in touch with Diaperlobby to ask if it is viable for them to enable the fbSAS.exe also, be my guest.
