:)greetings everyone! i have been reading these boards for a couple weeks and i am new to modding il2 and i just want to take a moment and introduce myself and maybe make some new friends. I have been playing combat flight sims since i was a kid. i had a pack that had the lucas arts games secret weapons of the luftwaffe and bOB and 1942( i think that was the names) and have been hooked since. I have been playing il 2 since forgotten battles was first released and its the flying sim i always go back too. my love of ww2 aircract is very deep, i even have a tigershark mouth tattooed on my arm(wrist). i enjoy building plasic 1/72 scale models and i have done radio control in the past and plan on building a large scale warbird sometime in the future. my favorite planes are the hurricane, all the 109's, the 262,p 40, b-17 and b 36.(maybe one day we can get a b36 to fly!)
My style of playing il2 is moslty solo non combat i like to pretend im taking the planes on check rides and the game is basically my virtual model sand box. i would love to maybe join a squad and fly with somebody and maybe learn combat but i have yet to figure out how to find a server or the people to play with. i live in Texas and im on cst. i run v4.10.1 with sas modact 3.0 i currentl use offline buttons.
