Who? WHO?  ???

Who is the EVIL soul that is preventing you from playing IL2 while having free time? We shall send a squad to take you out of captivity!  :P

I suggest "Flames in the Sky" by Pierre Clostermann, as it has about 8 chapters, each on a different flyer and nation in the war.
(You can't go wrong with "Samurai" either, or "Wing Leader" the autobiography of Johnny Johnson,
or "The First and the Last" by Adolph Galland, either)
To save a bit of money, I suggest you check out the WW2 and Aviation sections at your local used book store.

Currently i'm reading JG-26: Top Guns of the Luftwaffe by Donald L. Caldwell. It is a full narritive of the history of the JG26, told from the perspective of the German pilots and mechanics. (And some other eye witnesses.) It is a very good book.
