I cannot seem to find a buyable download of BOE. On vincent's recomendation I would like to get it.

It also seems it was made for IL2 AEP or something, not realy for 1946.

In any event, the sounth african postal service bieng what it is, if anyone is prepared to copy theirs and send me the copy, I would gladly pay for the mail. Dont send original, because it may be lost.

Is this possible?

But in actual fact, if anyone can upload just the campaigns and missions and other files without the skins, that would be more than good enough for me ( I have an app to rewrite any campaign to only use stock skins and markings on), or are there maps and things also involved?

Any advice is welcome.

Thanx for the overwhelming email and PM responses guys. The downloads will keep me busy for a long time :)

Fruitbat, I dont have skype anymore, and I could never download larger files with it anyway (South African Telecoms) (by larger 'n mean more than 10m)

However, should you ever upload them to mediafire or so, please may I be the first to know :) (privately)

Interesting - a payware game that uses a modded (I think) mk 1 spitfire.

Surely 'paid for' IL2 expansion games unless sanctioned by 1C (&/or TD) are illegal?

Although I understand (no disrespect is meant, but humour is needed) poorer areas adapting to more capitalistic methods and possibly to keep their mod/expamsion specific servers running in said countries.

While more of the gaming population mods for free, are those expansions having to pay for access to state files & trips to museums & archives (and associated 'expenses' - smokes, beer, dirty mags, postage etc), or because they do not include free community mods, addons A/C etc - and so have to make their own stuff of which is so much better than stock or free?

I suppose I'm more worried about them using the free communities products as a part of their own stuff and claiming costs for it all from there unknowledgable users/supporters. Do they pay a percentage to artists/modders who have been selected from the free community?

Then again, if you don't buy, you don't know what bits they might have selected from the many many options from the free community.

Personally as you should be able to tell, I am initially against for 'paid for' community expansions - even if theres little difference between 'official' expansions which I have paid for on different games.
