Quick question for Scharnhorst1943. Or anyone else for that matter.

I'm currently running DCG in Manual Mission Generation Mode.  If I was to switch to the Full Auto-Generation Mode, replace DGEN, would I lose the DCG campaign that I'm currently running?

Maybe ... but I don't think so. You can switch back and forth from DCG & DGen with a few simple clicks. Just make very sure you don't open any DGen campaigns with DCG. THAT would probably fubar up your campaign in the fact that once you convert your campaigns from DGen to DCG ... I believe there are issues going back.

So to answer your question ... you can have DGen campaigns and DCG campaigns that are separate. You can switch back and forth, or in and out of DCG to play each one, switching into DGen or DCG to play the appropriate campaigns. I do not recommend mixing them ...

However, in my experience, once I played DCG I have never, ever, ever had any desire to go back and play DGen. Why would you want to? You can add new mod content into DCG yourself whereas DGen is hard coded. DCG is updatable yourself with your custom mod install where DGen is not. Me personally, I am done with DGen. DCG is the way to go. There is no going back for me. just how I feel :)
