 8) Don't mind, looks better than this cigarette smoke all blue.
Much needed, even if it's on small location, screens looking awesome.
I wish there was sth. like that to add to Luftwaffe Pilot Afrika campaign.
Some missions were under bad condition, bad cuz the haze was all blue.
Keep it up

Hi, deeply sorry but in my last PC crash I lost this brown clouds along with my latest retexturing work unpublished. Uuflake one looked good but he had some problems with the fact that the fog appeared suddenly at some distance from the viewer. I think that the most promising alternative was to:

- Change the fog between the valleys at long distance, that one that makes everything blueish at the distance. But as far as I investigated that is very deep into the rendering of IL2 light, I tried to discover in which java class it was and try to get to edit but I stopped there.

- Another alternative is to get the brown clouds I showed, at ground level, and potentially creating a different weather (Desert Storm). But this implies eliminating the limit of 300 m (I don't know where is this defined) and creating a new weather again surpasses my knowledge :)

the 300m 'floor' limit for clouds was one of the very first mods to be released back in hte day, it reduced the cloud limit to 100m, and the results were very good in some of the screens i saw.
i could never get the mod to work, though, can't recall the exact issues at the moment -but i do still have it somewhere in my archive, if someone here is interested and wants to take a look at it.

I know CY6's Command and Control 2.0 mod, has a weather front object, which when placed over an object results in the weather getting worse as you approach it, maybe this could be adjusted in some way so that a cloud or smoke object appears as you near the object.
