just wondering if steam versions of 1946 will work with 1956?

You first need to install mod activator, Il-2 doesn't come with native mod support. And I'm not sure if modact works on steam version. You can find it in sas essentialis section.

All you have to do is copy your game outside of C:\. Make a folder on your desk top and copy the contents from your Down loaded folder into your new folder then go to Tech Help Section and learn how to mod your Installation the right way, and then enjoy what we all enjoy. ~S~

Mine keeps crashing when it reaches 40%. I'm running 4.11.1, the latest modact, latest buttons, and what I believe to be the latest engine/hotkey/catapult mod (the link on this page took me there). I've read through this forum and nothing seems to work for me, I've edited the .rc file and got rid of the //, but still it keeps crashing. Help!

Does 4.11.1 not work with this and I have to revert to an older patch?

I had the same problem... Forgot what fixed it...

Did you edit the .ini's and the _ru's?

Can someone tell me when we can expect to se MiG-21  and  Hawker Hunter in IL-2 1956 The Jet Era. It seems that all works on that has stopped.
