If your problem is that of when selector show up, then you press start and after a while nothing happen, I recommend that you disable all JGME mods and copy file.sfs from SAS download pack to your main game folder. I had this before and it work for me  ;D

Guys, I'm having a weird bug happening since I installed the latest version and the catapult mod.

Basically I can land any jet on an aircraft carrier without problems, but if I use ANY propeller plane and go down for landing, the game will freeze and CTD as soon as the arresting hook touches one of the arresting cables! I've tested it on and on, it's all fine if the propeller plane lands with the hook up, but for some reason the contact of the hook with the cables freezes it all.

I have a simple SAS modact (latest version) and the Jet Era 1.2 installed, any ideas?

What name folder you installed as "catapult mod"?

sorry, the mod is this one
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,23327.0.html

and the folder is the standard one that is contained in the zip file, 00000_SAS_AI_Engine_HotKeys_Carriers

but frankly I'm not sure it's working properly i.e. I don't see any catapult steam?

I have tried a clean instal in my C: and D: drives, in and out of the (86) files and even on my desktop to see if I can isolate the problem.  It just wont start no matter where I put it and I cannot get a log file to see why, so I give up ...
the log file isnt showing up because your game was originally in program files. just reinstall.

For some of the planes on qmb they have no loadouts and get a mission failed null. (tu-4,some Migs, some F-86's.) I also cant view them when in customizer.

any help here. do I need Diff fm or something like that.

You've most likely installed it wrong.

DiffFM is included by default, but even so, a lack of DiffFM would not cause your weapons not to show.

As Verhangis has said, most likely you have installed this incorrectly, particularly as the loadouts aren't working at all.
