I installed the jetwar mod, ran the game and it crashed at 60%.I tried to change the buttons file 3 different times, without any luck, so could someone tell me the reason for the game crashing at 60%?

I was having this problem and eventually found that I could fix it by commenting out the air.ini line for the skyraider tanker (i.e. place // in front of that line or just delete it).

I have no idea why this was causing me problems, but as long as you don't want to use the air to air refueling, it may work.

Oh, and in 4.12.2 with engine mod 2.7 and hotfix 1.33, I haven't got the Tu-4 cockpit either, but no other bugs have been noticed.

i got it to work, but the it doesn't even let me play the tu-4

That's the same as me then.  I believe (though I may be wrong) that a missing or non-functioning cockpit manifests itself as the aircraft being invisible in the selection window and unplayable.

In reference to the Tu-4 Mod.  I am  running 412.2 with Mod activator 5.3 Jet war 1.33 . The Tu-4  mod which works fine is : SASTu-4BETA_v1 upon unzipping aforementioned folder the interior folder will read TU-4_SASvers_AtomicIncluded. This mod works with no problems for me as spelled out on the inner folder, and a very nice cockpit.

It's mean air.ini, plane_ru etc

Right. Most every aircraft file contains a readme that tells you what lines to put where. It is most important to update your air.ini file which is located unter #SAS/STD/com and so on. The "plane_ru" file is now "plane.properties".

Is there a problem with the F-86D-40/45 jets? I have no guns and no 24xFFAR Mk4 when I load them.

This is a fresh install of Jet Era 1.33 with 4.12.2. No other mods enabled.

Aviar, do you have SAS engine mod 2.7 for 4.12.2 installed?

Aviar, you have to assign the key "Open/Close Bomb Bay Doors" in your Controls menu.
(This key is a new one provided by SAS Engine MOD.)

And when you push this key in a flight and wait to open the bay, you can shoot FFAR.

Yes, I do have Engine Mod 2.7 installed. Everything else seems to be working fine so far. As far as opening the bomb bay doors, I'll try that. But how about the guns? Do they work on these two jets?

EDIT: Oops...I just read the 1956 Guide. Those two jets do not have guns. Their only ordnance is internal rockets.
