Is it doing the same with other planes of the mod ?
Are you on 4.12 ?
Because I was, and I had this problem with all the planes of the mod. I had to copy the content of "SAS_SFS" of the mod to the "SFS_AUTO" folder in order to make it work.

No, I haven't noticed it with other aircraft, but I have not used every single aircraft. I'll try copying those files over.

EDIT: For some reason I don't have an SAS_SFS file. I guess I already copied it or something.

Well, I deleted the file for Jetwar from my #SAS folder, and reinstalled it. Now when i try to use the Tu-4, it has the right loadout options (instead of nothing) but no model in the arming screen, and the game goes weird when it try to fly (this is in QMB by the way).

No, I imagine that a conflict or something is caused without it?

EDIT: After installing that the Tu-4 is working now.

Hi, trying this
Installation for 4.12.2m ONLY:
1) Make sure you are running ModAct 5.3 on Il-2 4.12.2m
2) Make sure you meet the game requirements listed above
3) Extract content to your Il-2 directory
4) Then please copy the SFS archives from SAS_SFS to SFS_AUTO folder. By doing this, there is no need to touch the RC file
5) Add the latest Hotfix (if any)
6) Add the aircraft lines below NB: If you are new to modding, please read the following guides:

7) If you wish to add the static aircraft, please use the stationary and technics entries AFTER backing up your .inis

Line 4, where do I find the SAS_SFS files?  I can find SFS_AUTO but not the SFS archives, thanks
OK found that, but now cannot find where to place the air ini files and other lines.  Got to Maddox, IL2, objects, but there are air files but no air.ini and I cannot figure out where to place planes_ru.  Ifound planes_f and _hu and a few more but no _ru.Help.

ini is the file extension. If the computer is not the mode display known file types then air.ini will look like air.
You must open file air with Notepad and add request lines
Editing files plane_ru, etc is not necessery

Thanks Tarakan, so I don't need to place the planes_ru, weapons_ru, stationary ini or the technic ini, just the air?  Now I've re read it makes sense, thanks again.

Not quite. Not necessary to edit files planes_ru, weapons_ru.
If You want to have a stationary jets you need to edit the files stationary.ini(stationary) and the technic.ini(technic). They are located in the same folder, where file air
