I guess you could do that by removing all the unwanted planes from the air.ini file, however make a backup before you try that.

Yes you can!
And as you said ... make a backup of your air.ini file!
But by doing this manipulation you will not see any of these aircraft "deleted" even controlled by the AI. So be careful with compatibility with some missions / campaigns!

I guess you could do that by removing all the unwanted planes from the air.ini file, however make a backup before you try that.

1)
You can allways put // in front of any line you don't want the game to load. It will not affect the gameplay if there are dependencies between mods.

(As Epervier said - it will delete content from any mission file you open! Therefore I suggest another option.)

2)
You can change the order of the lines in air.ini, so that you have all your preffered planes on top of the chart

Hi, i've a problem with 7z files. I can open the 7z files, but this not. I tried to open it with 3 differents computer  (Windows Xp, Mac OSX leopard and Snow leopard) and in every computer it doesn't work. It show me this message :"The structure of the archive is damaged".
Someone can indicate me an alternative link with a different file extension (.zip or .rar)?
