I welcome this (added title after - forgot it at 1st, in my initial 'observance')

Let the storm settle, theres always been a hot topic of almost religeous zeal at anytime in UBI & 1C forums, well in all the online forums to be fair. And quite possibly one of those is at the same time watchig porn or something.
Forgive my British language, some might think me a tnuC, the readers whom could be from anysite, with their own opinions, logics, likes, upbringings in life, school, Games, Communities, family and such etc.

When something we understand with our own logic and we all like some aspect, the animal/human desire to illuminate, learn, develope, understand, improve, protect, enjoy coincide, we can over time and situations get more aggressive/defencive.
We all understand this when were 'outside the box' but can't see the forset because of the trees in the way.
People have made mistakes, and will continue to, were are humans yes? or zealots?
Some apologised, some haven't calmed down yet, others haven't even got started yet, and all other human responces, mostly likely theres a grapevine of discussion behind secured servers and forum back rooms, alleys, bedrooms or in an orgy somplace

The dust has yet to settle, this is a community on the release of one posting that is also tied into game based fairly close to reality, why else has it lasted so long. Near enough 11 years! isnt that some sort of record of to how it attracts us so, if not for its support, strengths weaknesses of it and the work of Oleg Maddox and staff at 1C.

This game is based on historical truths, lies, deceptions, heroic losses, evil acts, love, hate wars, death, marvels of tech, humanity & inhumanity in all forms and. A Game, so let not let some turn to the flame war of idiotic damaging in their own self-hindsight those who are steaming up to volcanoe boiling point.

We all have our own national propagandised viewpoints of history in differing ways and supposed facts, individual teachings on what happened where there isn't enough evidence to get an average grasp on those facts to decide using or ignoring or based upon.

I feel that among the many members own other hobbies connected to those few sites I know/can gather from average postings here at SAS and those others I mentioned.
That the IL2 community is concerned very well in discovering, sharing and leaning genuingely have some interest in WW2 History, and many modders can be the staunchest of trying to recreate as reasonably possible apporximations of them, without try to dis-service to the facts where so discovered and the losses involved at their happening.

Be they technical, engineering, medical, school, police, military, industy, civil servce, young old etc in real life we try to assertain as much as possible to do Oleg 'honour' in staying close to what was, what was in planning/testing/fact because we love IL2 so much for making us be so analytical with purpose. We can all nit pick when we need a rise.

Stay stock and wait for patches if you choose to, fair play I applaud you, depending on the game and how you like it, stock has its quirks and attractivness.
I nearly always spend at least the 1st year stock on any game, depends if I like it enough, if its brand new or pre-owned, if the community is still active. We have all forgotten one or two forums as we get caught up in another site/game methinks.
I think everyone nowerdays if we play our own personal choices of games, I think the vast majority cannot say they probably do not have any single/one game (or emulator) that is not modded in any non stock way upon theire systems at the moment or recently.

If you choose to Mod, fair play to you as well, you have to wait for version updates/fixes and trying to get your personal pc O/S's hard/soft-ware working with all those drivers, .txt files, folders, backing up, troubleshooting, game testing, do's and don'ts, triple checking as you tie yourself in knots trying to figure where you went.
And that doesn't include what other games we all play or tinker with, let alone human relations of life and work being involved too.

Don't be offended if some are angry within some reaon, oppositely anger breeds anger due to defencieness, try to be respecful or accomodating, we have all tried more than once to assits at many times, we mostly likely ignored a few too. Occasionally short tempers are sizzling away before typing.

Come on were mostly males here I believe, have some Balls, we can all get caught in a frustrated loop (done it myself to many times too) sometimes trying to sort things when the situation skcuF up on us PC wise.

Some of those who just couldn't get it for them to work got angry for not always being treated as they felt they should or could have been due to the sheer number of people that do have problems people get stressed out, those that are unable to get it working, why must they be so aggressively naysaying - bloke-ish jealousy?

Ok apologies for 'hitting the belt', get over it, you're a man, unless your a woman, in which case it's most likely already working due to better problem solving skills.

I have gotten riled up in the past myself quiet a few times over my last 8 years online, sometimes much to my hindsighted personal dismay for doing so.
I have included not researching enough, stretching the truth, guess-timating facts and being intolerant or dismissive of strange hypothersies/avenues of opinion.
I think at some point I might be again, but with a more understanding than last time (I future-sight hope), we've all been there surely in some respect.

Mod or no mod, its upto you. lets not kill the game for this online world (2.0) of fake egos on whos the most stubbon damn all else.

A ever if any mods or members want this edited or removed, thats ok too.

I try to be respectful, despite my prejudices and quirks, why can't those few who feel rejected/un manly for not getting the PC game working, be respectful too, have basic common human decency and agreeing to disagree.

I own 3 copies if IL2 (since); Sturmovik (2001), Pacific Battles (2007) & 1946 (2008).
If I was condercending , oh well. humour me.
