What they currently do: Using anything useful, like they do with the addons, And i share "my work"  as much as they share "theirs".
And they have used many more and many modders ideas in "official" patches.
And they also can use stuff from UP. Technically they are able to do what we do with stock game, extract stuff, resolve classes, etc..
And i don't "split" anything. If you cannot read its not my fault.

I think TD has taken more of the mod worlds work then any version of UP has used TD stuff.

Making something from scratch based on an idea is different from taking someones completed work.
I'd like to know, if you will use their work without asking ? That's what they don't do or I don't know any case they did. I know only about Flakiten's flares cause.

I'm just asking to make things clear for me.

I really don't have time to argue and things like this have been answered 1000s of times in the past. TD has "borrowed" community's work and vice-versa.
And i also mean "Complete" work, and not just flakitens flares.

You are free to choose and use.

No need to repeat 100s of pages about mod "ethics", who asked whom, what was first the chicken or the egg, who are "free modders" and "official modders", etc...

I had a look on 1C forum about "mods".
Two points about that:
 - totally ininteresting since I haven't see any modders participation (except some great developpers from DT). No news, no scoop and without participation it will stay at this level: blabla.
 - it is a way for DT to claim about FB modding.

So, since DT says that they don't change any rule attitudes about external mods, why wasting our time in this forum?
SAS, UP have now possibility to release packs under native format, so there is no more difference with mod pack release by DT and the choice will be done by the quality of the content.

  Well I did reply in that 1c forum, in anger wich I in my old age should known better. But I really have`nt been flamed at in the internet before the way I`ve beeing right now in 1c. I find that rather funny, that is why I no longer regret my input in 1c forum. They really hate me there

Well, I paid for my IL-2 license, so I can use the free updates from TD.
And I can mod my IL-2 with unoficial's Oleg's permition.
And nobody cares about what I will do with my game in my computer's HD.
