Hey Im having a head wrecking problem, Im working on the arsenal vg33 at the moment for rammbock and its most likely a hook problem. The vg33 has no tail wheel, rather a skid instead. now when i spawn the aircraft the skid snaps off and the aircraft sinks slightly into the ground, other hook configurations cause the plane to bounce around all over the place. Does anyone know what the configuration should regarding the tails hooks and the skid attached to the tails hooks? cheers!

It should be a clip called "_ClipCGear" on the bottom of the skid. That should work.

exactly what i have, however it seems that when i land the friction is so great that the craft cant take off again, and when i ground start it snaps off or sinks into the ground, and i do believe the hook is correctly positioned...

If it is a skid don't name it Gear01 cos 01 number is usually for rotating parts. Rename it to Gear02 or whatever without 01

Okay it may be an FM issue with the tailwheel suspension being too hard so that it bounces and makes it fall off. However normally when you spawn and ur on a runway on take off you shouldn't have any problems.... It could be the rotation of the hook being perpendicular to the direction you are travelling in or something maybe...
