Yes, this whole end of the world issue was started by a minister in California by the name of Harold Camping. He has followers who have quit their jobs and spent most of their money in preparation for May 21, 2011! The concept is crazy but highly amusing!

If he is right (and I'm wrong) I'll be the first one to admit it. But I'll probably be gone so it is a moot point.   ;)

It's nice to point out that this guy has made millions on sales of his book '1994?' where he said the world would end in 1994.

It is a good day to leave a set of clothes and a pair of shoes in the street though :D

"270 Million people will be plucked off the Earth Instantly, followed by months of Earthquakes, Floods and other Natural disasters, all based on a highly researched Mathematical formula." Lol.

Although I did wake up with a killer migrane this morning. :D
But that was probably just Eye strain.

yup. douchebag. one can only hope he goes for the mass suicide angle with his next one. "if you kill yourself with us, the world will indeed end!"

no shit, sherlock.

he should take a lesson from the Inca douchebags : Pick a date for the end of the world that is far beyond anything anyone will see in your religion's livespan, that way you cannot be proved wrong.

He and his followers obviously never heard about rule 5 : If you are wrong about one thing, entertain the possibility that you are probably wrong about everything.  :D

The end of the world........... is....inevitable

eventually....

so what!

it has happened countless times in the past and will happen again........ the past and future are infinite....no end ........no beginning  (that is the Buddhist view.)

Big bang...expansion...contraction....big crunch....new big bang....etc. etc. etc.

The world has ended countless times...we have died countless times.....get used to it.
