« on: May 21, 2011, 07:35:44 PM »

I met an intresting fellow at the Commemorative Air Force museum in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Bradshaw was a pilot who scored 4 and 1/2 kills with the addtion of one Buzz bomb he incountered in the skies over Britain.

He flew the Hurricane Mk.IIC\ Spitfires IIa-14\ P-47D-10,20,30,36,40, and Mike\ P-51 Ia, and D

He scored the 1/2 kill on a Ju-88
Full kills:
2x 190s
2x 109s (During his time with the RAF)

I do hope this was an intresting bit of information, if you have anymore info on this man, (e.i photos or general info) please post it.

Sincerly,

Wow! Cool story. years back when i was working at wal mart, an old man came in to get his oil changed. I changed his oil and helped him with something else..(cant remeber what it was but he was very thankfull) then we started talking. He was wearing one of those hats that vets wear and i asked him about his military service.  Turns out he was a b-17 tail gunner during ww2 and had actually been shot down and had to bail out. I wish i could remeber the details but it was so long ago...then one remarkable thing is though he showed me a card he carried in his wallet that was card only poeple who had been shot down during ww2 and parachuted out could carry. Maybe one of you know more about that "club".

btw i live in dallas/ft worth maybe i should check out that museum
