What would it takes to make it work on 4.11?

I've been able to open the files and see the Java thingy but I have no clue about how to adapt it.

The only bit I would like to make work would simply be the trim setting display.

The readme includes the following line:

This ini file goes in games root folder, for example
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL2

Yet the downloand doesn't seem to contain an addtional ini file. Can someone explain this? Thanks.

I think he refer to the conf.ini in your IL2 directory

I would have thought so but the readme says that another ini was created so as to avoid making changes in the standard IL2 conf.ini.

The ini file is called "HudCustomization.ini" and should be in the game root directory ".../Il-2 Sturmovik 1946/". Works excellently.

Oh sorry, I was wrong, bad memory ;)

This is my HudCustomization.ini

How to install?
HudCustomize folder goes into your MODS or #SAS,depending which modact you are using. This ini file goes in games root folder, for example
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL2

All this can be done in Conf.ini, but I choose to make new ini file just
to avoid any problems that might arise from tinkering with Conf.ini.
Wonder woman view is a bit screwed,I don't know why...so just stay in cockpit ;)

You can activate or deactivate new features by putting 1 or 0 at the end
of the lines.Don't enable kmh and mph tas at the same time because they
are on the same space of the screen.Do not change the words, only numbers.Last option is for those seeking maximum realism,no HUD info at all :)

G load                  1
Flaps                   1
Aileron trim            1
Elevator trim           1
Rudder trim             1
TAS kmh                 1
TAS mph                 0
Vertical speed          1
Angle of attack         1
HUD without info        0

Paste those line in a text file and rename it HudCustomization.ini
