guys, here is a sample skin of some i've done for this awhile back. check them out, they should fit the latest version....
i did quite a few, but i won't release any before max, as his skins are way better than mine.
also, you can see the non-historical workaround i tried for the SM dorsal guns

Malone,  Your a fine skin artist too. I have always enjoyed flying with your skins.
Its always great to see diferent skins from diferent artists on these aircraft. I always look for unique and
personalized skins. Each artist has their own unique style, which is good.
That way we have more skins to choose from.

I need to know if EPERVIER or some other mod-artist is going to make any last minute changes to this model or
those top-rear machine-guns??

For the next week I did not intend to change the outside of the plane ...
There may be adding A-0/A-2/A-7 models ... but later ... maybe ...

Only fix for cockpit... now !

The only thing that might need some changes would be to remove the machine-gun barrels altogether, because in
the real machine, they were never seen coming out of the fuselage. -- There was only 2 small holes for the bullets to
come out! No guns were ever seen.

Hitman,

 I have no doubt the meshes MGs will be removed now that you provided this information.
If it is not to much trouble I think you should place the holes in the skin where you know the real plane had them, adjustments can be made easy to move the muzzle flashes over the holes you place on the skin.

Removal of the MGs will be simple.

In the classfile the code below will have to be removed, and of course the hooks for the weapons will have to be adjusted in the proper mesh so the muzzle flashes appear in the correct place.

Great news guys, thank you so much
I will send both of you a set of skins to create these changes and see them in your game tomorrow when I get back home..
This airplane will be in top shape when one day we will receive that special radar for WW2 aircraft.

Here is something that most people do not know about this airplane. It was one of the first (if not the actual first)
aircraft to come off the factory with ejection seats for the the 2 man crew.
Even though, the ejection seat was already being developed for the He-162 jet fighter and the Dornier Do-335, the Heinkel 219
got it first.
So perhaps later in the future someone would want to consider including the same type of pilot ejection-seat, as often seen
on the he-162 "salamander" that is in the IL2-1946, into this airplane.

If the holes for the SM are in the wrong place, put them in their true positions on the skin.
I will then make a patch to put the hooks correctly!

I had promised I was going to post the skins today, but I have to wait a little bit because there are much needed new fixes and tests being
done on this aircraft right now, then I will post the skin-pack.
Perhaps tomorrow or this weekend it should be ready.

I cannot post the skins now because then it might not fit the airplane good and I will have to change some things
in the skin-template for all the skins to be corrected   
But the skin-template its now finished and is ready to fly with new colors at any moment.

Patches work very well with the new skin ... for the Rebels! 
But there seems to be little problems with versiion DBW which contains an old version of Uhu ...
I will check and possibly make a new version with new names Class for Imperialists!
