The A4 is beautiful isn't it? I liked this aircraft so much in Wings over Vietnam... and now for Il-2... that is awesome. And the F-5 is a KILLER! I think late 2011 will be under sign of the Vietnam War. I always knew this would come... at AAA they laughed at me... but  I always knew we're almost upon it!!!!!

I've been one of those and later on implemented the transsonic physics for the 1956 pack myself.
So what? We're constantly gaining more knowledge.

Yep ... I fell into that same boat. I was highly against venturing into the jet age because there were so many needed WWII types left out. Also I would not be interested in jets if they were not done right. However, both the sound barrier and modern avionics + weapons packages have been added, among other things ... so now major issues are more or less solved making it possible to have 100% jet era as before it was speculation and hearsay.

Anyway, more power to them. As a once skeptic I am deeply impressed by the quality of the jet mods soon to be coming down the pipes. Top notch and a job well done! My hat is off to those who have overcome impossibility. Kudos.

I saw a hint of the F-5 for IL-2 on some stray post a few months ago, and I know that it was going to be FOR REAL...looking forward for the last fighter jet my country used (though it's the earlier A model)
