I open the (possibly uneeded) IL2 Virtual Pilot Badge thread...

I figured for fun, rather than using some photoshopped/GIMPed edit of real pilot badge/wings,
so I got my GIMP to make one for the IL2 Community, with the assistance from myself, some rollies
and Stabbing Westward. It's not perfect either (and the white is just a unwanted background)...
The original style IL2 logo is 1C Maddox's, which is the only bit 'borrowed' before GIMP & me got to work.

Feel free to submit your own versions of Pilot Badges for the community to heckel, compare, use or look at,
if wish to use mine, please post some details/pics/info or a simple 'I want a real one, but this will do'
or something here.
With my permission you can use it if ask/post here first, don't take all the credit as your just your own, you can use
part or all of my picture for only non profit, non commercial & non corporate usage (unless directly
approved by 1C Maddox &/or myself beforehand). I do have a non IL2 badged version if wanted or customisable.

...and yes before those of you ask, the IL2 'orb' I created for the modified logo is inspired by dishwasher 'powerballs'.
