Hi everyone,

this is no request but has anyone ever made a request for the Bell x-1 for IL-2? if not, I'd be happy to make one.

No I didn't mean it like that, I meant to make a request. If I had the skills it would be awesome but I have difficulties with IL2 itself so it wouldn't come out great.

I don't mean to be blunt about this but there seems to be no other way to ask this:
What would be the use of the X1 in the game? No guns,no missles,no bombs,no nuthin'.Sound a little boring.Maybe I'm wrong..I usually am.

No I didn't mean it like that, I meant to make a request. If I had the skills it would be awesome but I have difficulties with IL2 itself so it wouldn't come out great.

I see now, Effort vs purpose, it isn't that hard to give it weapons though, so we could make some alternative fighter variants like bomber interceptor or something.

From what I understand there will be real jet combat fighters available soon.However should somebody happen to offer an X-1,I'll certainly DL it and check it out.
