BIG THANK YOU, Ashes, for going to all this trouble.  I, and probably many others, have drooled over the lovely pics of this map, kind of feeling "on the sidelines".  Hope this all works out.

I've included some _Tex files which are obviously needed, but I cant guarantee that this will work first go.
If it fails to load then look in logfile.txt for a relevant error message.

Many thanks, Ashes! The map loads OK, but it doesn't save in FMB
Here's an extract from the logfile, never heard of that particular object before...

I suggest you run the static.ini checker as well.
See what objects that shows as missing.

That looks like a stock object from the Finland map? -- odd.

In my static.ini it appears as:

So my install is not reading the object, but the map works ok, so you possibly have other objects
missing. Have you got Boomers latest object pack installed?

It's been ages since I last used the universal static.ini checker. First, I open my STD/objects/static folder, then I click on the map, and click on the static.ini folder, correct? Only, the univ. static.ini checker tells me there's no static.ini in the map's folder. From your install text I read this is one of Uuflakke's objects; strange, I thought I had gathere all of them. I have Boomer's object folders for the game (SAS ModAct 3.6)

Start the Universal Static.ini Checker

Click Search/..missing objects

Select the actors.static in the appropriate map folder.

You will then have an option to browse to your static.ini

Same for me as Cgagan, she loads but doesn't save.  The missing objects must be in HSFX?
Downloaded LeOne's QMB file for this map, and, HOORAY, they work.  BEEEutiful map!!!
Can't thank you enough, and hats off to the map's maker. :) :)

You need to run the Universal Static.ini Checker to discover what objects are missing.
I think there may be some Mid-East Objects required, but I think these are included in Boomers latest Object Pack.

Vorrei chiederti, sicome sono l'unico rapresentante del mio paese in questo forum, qual'e il stato dell'Albania?
Nella prima mappa ho notato che poche cita erano rapresentate. per esempio mancava "Gjirokastra" che fu una base importante per la reggia aeronautica nella guerra Italo-Greca. In oltre mi rendo disponibile per ogni informazione che ti potra servire per il tema! saro ben felice di rendermi utile!

Tried again, to no avail... Opened the un. static.ini checker, saved the path to my STD/.../static.ini, then clicked on "search", clicked on the map (MWOI), selected the 'actors.static' ini file, but the checker does not recognize it as such. Mystery...

When I use the static.ini checker I select the map first, then I get an option to manually select the actors.static.
This works for me and its what I used originally to get this map to work in HSFX.

If you are not able to save missions then there must be objects missing.
You do have the latest version of Boomers Object Pack -- the sfs version?

No, I have his earlier, non sfs version, enriched with other objects (eg. for the Netherlands map) and I don't want to switch to the latest one as it will also affect my maps. I shall give it another try later today, but in case of failure, I shall wait for the complete standalone version. Many thanks again for your continuous assistance,
