milantarik,

Thanks for your suggestion. I did try the old 4.09 cataput mod and confirmed it does not work. I have not been able to download from mediafire for some time now, so, I was unable to try the 4.10 CTO mod. I am told that a cataput mod with be included in a new DBW build that will be released next week. So, it's no problem for me to wait for that.

Cheers,

Riptide

Ok, i have it in my SAS modact install, but didn't add it to #DBW since i don't fly pacific/carrier missions very often, so i could not tell you exactly. But good to hear it comes in build 1.1

Will the CTO mod be optional or "built in" with the new update?

I was planning to build it in. Do you think it should rather be optional?

I know it's not me who's asked but i give my thought's anyway :P I think it should be build in since you can use it or not, as you want...(and it's a bit disturbing to have thousands of options in jsgme, specially when you have to de- and reactivate them when you add a build !)

Hello CirX

Optional is always better for me .
Included is good also but I suppose that for you it is additional work or potential source of trouble with other mods ?
I always thought that CTO was cause of trouble when online ... but as DBW is offliner only ....
Thanks for all your efforts.

Yup, online is no concern of mine. :D

I have looked the package over again. It will be built in, because this is an integrated package with a lot of other great AI mods (what u guys have been asking for!)
So I am building it in, so that we can build future DBW addon's around it, instead of having to build for option on and option off all the time.

And also, it can be modified and even switched off in the config.ini. instructions will be included.

This is the way I feel too, but if is extra work, just do it the easier way.

wow, I haven't even gotten to the sound issues all you have. Anyways, there's a bug with Trackir and the il2selector. After multiple troubleshooting, I've come to the conclusion that whether enabled in the selector or JSGME, which clearly states that you must activate the #DB 6dof class-files mod and then the one on the selector, TrackIR does not respond and will at multiple times, (not all) lock up IL2 at 95%. Like I said, I have trouble shot this thing to death and was able to get up and flying and also used the fallback (which failed) is another story in itself. I even played with RAM and sound settings and some video but my card is nice so I knew that wasn't the issue. I don't know if this has been addressed because i haven't seen it but at 95% with trackIR settings set to be where they are supposed to be, DBW locks up.

O and btw, DBW looks supreme. I'm diggin it. Once i get my TrackIR working and some mods added, I'll be rockin and can continue making some missions. Hoping someone can help me with a Redtails campaign in Italy escorting 24s and ground pounding. Maybe wishful thinking. hehe. Hi CirX m8. How ya doin?  ;D

The 1.0 bug report topic is now closed and locked. It will be unstickied when 1.1 is released, and a new 1.1 bug report topic will follow.

Chaney, what you describe sounds like a setup or installtion problem, and would probably be dealt with in the Selector topic's readme. I suggest finding someone else with an TIR (I dont have) and compare notes and experiences. I am locking this topic now, feel free to continue it as a new topic in this board, but it is not a DBW specific bug
