Works great here by me.

I like that it remembers the place you last selected an SFS from, and the place where you saved to. It would be handy though to be able to create a new folder in the place you extract to.

You said you are implementing multiple SFS extraction to the final version, I look forward to it greatly! It was the best thing about Frog's version. However, something I mised with Frogs version was the ability to select in which order the SFS files are extracted, which is very important of course.

Finally, the absolutely best this for me so far about this is that it does away with the large fileslist, which was becomming a real problem. Thanx a million PAL. :)

Hi Pablo

I got this new version, I am having a problem.

When opening an SFS that I know I can extract 100%, it tells me another percentage is available, and then it gives an incorrect total of files.

For example, if I open an SFS with total 171 files in, that I can extract 100%, the SFS Extractor will tell me it found 171 out of 206 total, availablility is 83% (example).  Yet it will still extract all 171 files correctly.

Another issue I have found, is now guys are starting to share SFSExtract.lst instead of fileslist.txt. But I am not sure if it is possible to import and merge a SFSExtract.lst with one's own . It seems it is not. Ans manualy copying and pasting from one lst file to another also seems not possible, at least here by me. I eventualy managed it by converting the lst I pasted to to a .doc, then back to .lst.

Can it be added an option to import or merge an .lst file?

Piet,
I will take a look at what you say about the number of total files reported.

Regarding the .lst files. You can merge them by copying / pasting the contents of one in the other. But before loading any .SFS to use it, you have to perform in Tools Menu a FileList Database Order / Clean. It will remove any duplicates and sort the list to use it properly.

What you can directly import are original filelist.txt format files, but I can add something to import .lsts, it's not a big deal.

  Cheers,
                    Pablo

Another possible issue:

Whenever I try to open the "files.SFS" the program says it cannot mount the file!

Otherwise excellent piece of software

Karaya,

Files.SFS has a different type of encryption, that's the reason. The historic way of dumping classes from Files.SFS was with a modifyed version of the il2fb.exe in the game, but not with the extractor.

For the build of the UP some of our partners have developed tools to extract and pack even the Files.SFS but they are not public.

Hmm, but I can open the files.SFS with the old V2 Extractor just fine, so I am kind of puzzled as to why it should not be possible with your program!?

Wow,
I was completely sure because I've analyzed the code of the QTim program that it didn't open the Files.SFS, but now I have checked and as you stated it opens those files.

Let me check, I will manage to solve it.
