visibility of fire and smoke?

Can anyone remember a mod that increased the visibility of smoke/fire to 25km? if so could they post a link please or upload it.

Failing that does anyone know of any other mods that increase the view distance for smoke/flares/fire?

I think there is something about flares and something about the old B29 Silverplate at AAA, I don't remember very well.
