Ref "I can no longer land on ice in DBW build 1.7.1 - ice has same properties as water."

It happens on all maps with Ice. I have attempted turning off some mods, but to no avail. Will continue to fault find and let you know if I succeed.

Boomer - thanks but.....still no glory. Have turned off all mods and is still occurring (all winter maps). Will continue fault finding and see where I get.

for some strange reason, a A6m shows up on the blue team in the middle of a QMB flight in any of the strag maps.
i was killing some R-10s, when all of a sudden:

Has anybody else the 30 % crash with the HS 129 and the graphic errors with FW 190  F8(modded), G8, A8 ????

mojo, that is the way the mission is written. somewhere there is a flight of zeroes "too much". check the mission in FMB and ajust as you please

Bug with MiG-15: when pilot is killed, the second pilot's head appears in the cockpit (gore in air.ini is switched on of course)

Hi all,

With a fresh install off the disk to 4.07m I have downloaded and installed dark blue world and its great!, I wanted to check that what I am getting is standard though:-

1. If I choose anything but DBW,DBW 1916, or stock game the game crashes (I think this makes sense since I don't have any other mods loaded - I don't know if UP comes as part of DBW).
2. The more annoying one is that my track IR doesn't work on the DBW install.  I took a copy of my vanilla install to another drive before installing DBW and track IR works fine there.  It doesn't work on the DBW install even when I choose stock game.  Anyone else struck this? (I am hoping for a really easy fix - I have checked the conf.ini file and track ir is set to 1).  i have Track IR 5 if it matters.
I also have IL2 installed on a SSD as opposed to a spin drive (the vanilla back-up is on a spin drive) don't know if this will have an impact?

I haven't been able to get back into IL2 and mods for a long time now so still coming back up to speed but DBW is blowing me away. Great job and thanks a bunch for your hard work!
