Just go to your  C:\Windows\System32 scroll down until you see atioglxx.dll  or if your running WIN7 64bit and then copy yours.

Or simply remove the 11.5 atioglxx.dll from your IL2 root folder, then try your game with out it, your GPU will load your current Drivers atioglxx..dll.

Yep me too, I had to put 11.5.dll back in the folder for things to look right, with AA and settings at Max. Oh well maybe one of these future drivers will fix IL2 1946 ATI SNAFU.

Yeah the AA is definitely what causes the problem. The on-going lack of support from AMD with this has been annoying.  >:(

Hi guys, I sometimes think this game is designed to make us crazy.  ;)  I upgraded from XP to W7 and had to violate the old rule - if it aint broken, you dont have fix it - and, after reading the favourable comments in this thread  downloaded the latest ATI driver; 12.6. As I have IL-2 on a separate partition nothing seems to have changed, still got the same HD4850. Only, when flying over the North Sea beach near The Hague to bomb some Ju-52's I saw a sea that looked like it was frozen:

Tried everything in this thread, changed the settings in CCC but nothing worked. Then I copied Storebror's config.ini from
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,9756.msg185327.html#msg185327 and then I got this result:

Just as it was in XP. So, its not only the ATI driver that influences the images. IMHO three locations were you can change the graphics  - config.ini, hardware settings \ video and the IL-2Set are a bit overwhelming.

They work great with CLoD, but sadly not at all for IL2 1946 :(. on my rig, which is still not the new one. >:(
