Edit, here again I cant believe there are differences in Drivers,

The first pic is 13.2 Beta 4.   The second is  12.10 WHQL Drivers atioglxx.dll in my root folder. I need the Beta 4 for my Battle Field3 Game.

Third pic is with   Open GL=atio6axx.dll  And thats why the 64 bit atio6axx.dll aint a good idea, even with a 64 bit OS.

Hey bravo.. just installed the 13.2 Beta 4 drivers, and along with this carsmaster fix I must say it does everything the 11.5 did with my HD6570 card, only alot better. TexMipFilter is now set at '3'. I'm super happy with the 13.2 beta 4. No FPS loss either. Very notable change in the water quality.. much, much better. Also all the 2048HD stuff works like a charm.

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
AMD Radeon HD 6570
W7 64bit home premium

My Farcry3 game picked up some FPS over the 12.xx drivers too... awesome!

I'm a nvidia fan boy, but I found all the information I ever needed to tweak my card here at TweakGuides.com.  He also has a section on ATI so I imagine if you have the patients to sit and read his guides on tweaking ATI, Graphics for games and Windows 7 you should have a very smooth running gaming rig.

ATI Catalyst Drivers......................................................... http://www.tweakguides.com/ATICAT_1.html
Gamer Graphics and Display Settings................................... http://www.tweakguides.com/Graphics_1.html
Windows Tweak Guides XP, Win 7, Win 8............................. http://www.tweakguides.com/TGTC.html, don't fret, the download gui at the bottom is the free version, the paid version is illustrated, I have the one for Win 7 only because I'm old and slow and pictures help.

Take some time and read these, he pretty much has the answer to just about every question I have ever heard asked here on these forums.

Cheers

Hoss

Hi guys. I think I need some help!

Here´s the situation:

I´ve got a new Pc (posted the Specs already on page 24,but here is it again: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P Mainboard AM 3+ Socket
                                                                                                        AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series Card (1GB)
                                                                                                        AMD FX-4100 Quad Core Black Edition 4x3.36 Ghz
                                                                                                        8GB ram  )

After playing a while,I noticed the same anoying microstutters/freezes like with my old PC.(AMD based too)
My first reaction was to lower the settings at the CCC,but this doesn´t helps,and I dont want to futher like this:

So,I assume this is the same driver issue like always.My next step was the atioglxx.dll trick,that worked very well with my old PC,but not this time....I dont know what´s happend around, but my IL-2 wont start with the atioglxx.dll

I have:

-A clean HSFX6 (copied my mods folder outside IL-2) with the exe selector from the new modact for 4.11

-Copy the atioglxx.dll file in the IL-2 root and make the entys in the config. like this: [GLPROVIDER]
                                                                                                                  GL=Opengl32.dll

                                                                                                                  [GLPROVIDERS]
                                                                                                                  Open GL=atioglxx.dll
                                                                                                                  DirectX=dx8wrap.dll

But now,every time I try to start the Il-2 exe,generated via the exe selector,the screen starts to flicker for a second,then the exe shuts down and generates a file called "hs_err_pid2704"

Looks like this:
Code: [Select]
An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.
Unexpected Signal : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION occurred at PC=0x69d3218e
Function name=atiPS
Library=I:\IL-2 HSFX6\atioglxx.dll
