No it doesnt replace CCC but it will over ride it meaning you can launch your Games with Radeon Pro.

Here is a link if you want to read more about it.    http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=322031

Hello all.

Returning to IL-2 after a long haitus.  I am using the ATI 11.2 drivers (I believe) and I have annoying shimmers at very high settings.  Can one of you fellows recommend a fix?

System specs:
AMD PhenomII X4 965 Black Edition Quad-Core CPU (3.4Ghz)
Single Hard Drive - 500GB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 16MB Cache 7200RPM HDD
LG 22X DVD+/-/+/-RW + CD-R/RW Dual Layer Drive
MSI 770-G45 AM3 770 Chipset CrossFireX Support DDR3 Socket AM3 ATX Mainboard w/ 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, USB2.0, SATA-II, RAID, 2 Gen2 PCIe, 1 PCIe X1, & 3 PCI
8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Module
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
OCZ ZT Series 750W Fully-Modular Power Supply
HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
ATI Radeon HD 6970 2GB DDR5 16X PCIe Video Card [DirectX 11 Support]
DX 11 & DX 9 installed

Thanks!

Turn off any post proccessing AA like FXAA. If your using any other AA settings, then FXAA isn't helping you.

In IL-2 Conf.ini set TexAnisotropicExt=1 and in your ATI panel set AF to application controled.

In conf.ini set TexMipFilter=3

Set AA in ATI Controle Panel to over ride application settings.

For AA, set it to at least 8X in ATI controle panel. You can set it higher at first and if you don't like the frame rate, lower it.

Make sure Trilinier is Off in ATI Panel

You might want to get the latest version of Catalyst. I think it's at 13.5 now. It fixed a lot of problems. Actually, you would be better off to remove Catalyst controle center and leave just the drivers and use ATI Tray Tools to do your tuning.
