can you please upload the 12.10 atioglxx.dll file?

... and a question: when using a different atioglxx.dll file in the Il2 folder, does the game use the settings from the catalyst driver though?

Yes Boelcke, what ever you set in CCC applys to the Game.

I have just updated my Ati card to a HD 7770 only to find some of my installs were giving flickering land textures, when using opengl.
Specifically my DBW and HSFX installs, the 4.12 was fine
The solution is in the Landshading variable in conf.ini changing this from 3 to 2 fixed the problem.
There is still the issue of the land suddenly getting brighter as you approach the ground.
Anyone got ideas about that ?

even with Hardware shaders on this works a treat

curious though as to why switching on the hardware shaders gave me a black land and sky texture before
