I've only just joined the forum and have spent the last few days installing TFM 412.
So this is my first post and it is regarding slow frame rates when using that mod installation.

I experience huge differences in frame rates when using the battle of Britain mod for TFM412... I usually average about 45 frames when flying with a fair number of planes also in the air.

However whenever I am taxing for take off or landing my frame rate can drop to as low as 17.

Perhaps it's because there are many mods being used at the same time with lot's of objects around the airfields.
Though the frame difference seems unusual, I can have 17 fps when on the ground not moving.... and if I move the camera to a different position it can jump back to 45. :/
Also if I reduce all the video options, like view distance. e.c.t to a minimum... the frame rate still stay's on 17 in the same places and doesn't increase.

I've tried many different catalyst versions and I'm currently running 14.6

AMD phenom 2 Quad core 3.6ghz
7850 Radeon 2gb
8gb Ram.

Hey guys, you dont need to use atioglxx.dll 10.12 with the 14.8 Drivers, very cool.

I am getting from 60's to 100's fps.

Did you download the catalyst? Or just the drivers? The 14.9 works very well, but it seems the forced AA doesn't work as well as with the 11.x drivers. Thanks.

I installed CCC and Drivers, not having any problems with the 14.9.1 Beta Drivers.

I'll download the CCC too. Prolly cause I'm playing IL2 on a 60" LCD HD TV. Out of curiosity, what vid card are using? I'm due for an upgrade.

Im using MSI R9 280X 3GB, and man is it a powerful Card, I love it.

Been Playing Battle Field 3 & 4 on Ultra and Mantle.
