I did lose my 1920x1080 support on IL2 with these drivers. Had to revert to 1776x1000 resolution. Other games (modern and older OpenGL)  I can still use 1920x1080. Anyone else experience this?

I have all the water works on 1920-1080 and other games too

Setting the monitor hertz from 60 to 59 did the trick with 1920x1080 resolution.  In case anybody else runs into this problem.

Trying to run IL2 over a notebook with a Radeon HD7600G

I could play it with 1366x768, also with a diminished screen. Actually when it is about to run, the desktop got reduced to that resolution too. I got a full black marquee around the game. It is not stretching the screen to it's full size.

When I try and run it on 1920x1080, the game screen goes off boundaries. It also losses mouse control. Conf.ini is out of reproach. I actually see the game on the full screen, but my monitor should be somewhat bigger to show it all.

My ATI driver is 14.501. Catalyst 14.12

Well, in the end, my ATI have nothing to do with my problem. It was a win 8.1 issue. There is a setting that sets zoom to the whole desktop, changet it back to 100% from 125%, and everything worked fine.

Well, I have a problem here.

I was using AMD Catalyst 14.12 and never definitely updated it, since it made my Il-2 crashing. (the il2fb.exe began to gather some memory usage, but instead of showing the loading screen, il2fb.exe just stopped, without any message)

Unfortunately, another user of the PC thought it was a good idea to update to 15.7.
Of course, Il-2 crashed.

So I uninstalled the new drivers and reinstalled the trusty 14.12.

Problem is: Il-2 is still not launching.

Any ideas to resolve this problem ?

(Win7 32 bits, Radeon HD 5770, using OpenGL)
