is it possible that a conflict exists between your exe selector for 4.11 & the 11.5 atioglxx.dll?

No.
The selector does nothing but inject some memory settings to the Java VM.
Nothing is touched in terms of graphics.

& Semor, I dont know what else to say, my game runs perfect with 13.1 atioglxx, but very laggy with 13.2 Beta 6 Drivers.

I'm sorry too, mate.

Maybe it's some conflict with a mod or a corrupted file.
Another thing that it could be is if your installation is inside the "Programs files".
I have my IL-2 (all versions ) installed in the main folder of my HD (C:\IL-2 Sturmovik xxxx).
You could try to run il2fb.exe as administrator too.

Well, I have no more ideas...

Guys,I´ve got it. As always,the error sits between the Chair and the Monitor.

Santobr,you´re right,it was a mod conflict,but with my "clean back up" 

I totaly forget that I have Carsmasters Light mod for HSFX 5 installed for testing reasons only,but I forget to replace the dll´s with their originals and take this "infected" installation as my HSFX6 backup.
No wonder,this cannot work! Now,everything works as it should,got my ~50 FPS back again with no laggs & stutters. Unfortunately,from now on I have to live without carsmasters beautyfull light mod...seems that is the price for us HSFX users.

Yeah I tried it in SAS ModAct 4.0, and it doesnt work in 4.11.1m!

Hi guy's; what a great thread this is, a bit confusing sometimes but great info, thanks all contributors.  If possible I would like to hear some advise; I have a HD4800, with Catalyst 12.6 ( driver 8.97 ?) and this morning Ive used Pablo's 'trick' with Open GL=atio6axx.dll instead of Opengl32.dll. Game runs smooth, only a small hick-up in Black Death when there are large explosions.
Should I upgrade to 13.1 or leave it as it is?

Take a look at page 26 and you will see why not worth using ati06axx.dll.

IL-2 is a 32 bits game and nothing that we can do will change it.

Now when I start the IL2, restart the Windows!!! 
This anomaly what is caused?
