As you have all noticed, IL2 is moving towards the 1956 era thanks to the work of modders. There is soon to be the mig21, yet it seems the western world won't have an aircraft to match the mig21's capabilities. I would suggest bringing to life the Mirage III plane.
This plane was introduced in 1961 (first flight in 1956) and has served for a great number of countries and saw a lot of action vs the Mig17 and the Mig21 in the Middle East, during the 6 Day War, War of Kippour; served in falklands too.
It retired in France and Switzerland in the 90's!
I would also personally suggest making the IIIM Variant which had a Hook for carrier-based operations. Let us know if you are interested in taking this project, or if any of you has any thoughts, suggestions.
