You'll be surprised. There are actually many supporters of mods over there. In fact I was taken back that a TD member welcomed me when I posted a link to SAS. Most Il-2 players use mods, so the attitude has definitely changed.

wow, some people here should really learn to have patience, it's only now that I realise it. We've waited for long, yes, but take into account that the modders want to do the best they can to give YOU a great piece of art. I guess that should be worth the wait...

Hi guys,
sorry for my mail but whan I see the F-16 or F-22 in Il-2 and we wait long time for some planes (Mirage III, A-4 Skyhawk, Hunter etc.) I'm sad. New USS Essex without A-4 , what a pity.
I realy have a patience.

as apposed to...? nice work on the A-4s by the way, real nice. as for 1966, let us all dwell on the idea of, of course after they've all been released as standalone mods, a 1966 pack with all those planes under developement and/or mentioned in this thread. seems like a good idea to me.
